Cracking tunes, good range of beers (even for someone like myself who only really drinks terrible lager), a tasty boozey slushie, and super friendly staff. Start the mile off right!

A railway archway tap room for the Three Hills Brewery in Northampton. Stronger Beers are the speciality here. We tried a DIPA, imperial sour, and 2 imperial stouts. All delicious. No food, music and chilled vibe tables outside (which we sat even though a mild Feb day). Not too busy mid Sat afternoon.

My favourite bar on the beer mile. Great selection of interesting beers, cool upstairs seating area as well as plenty of outside tables. Very friendly bar staff as well.

Wonderful welcome, and it's fair to say that I was surprised and delighted to be told that it was Happy Hour and all drinks were half price. Quirky interior, informal feel and a great atmosphere. Not only that, but Three Hills produce some of the best stouts going, although there are numerous other beer styles. Would recommend.

As someone who has done the Bermondsey Beer Mile for years - this is easily in the Top Tier of breweries to visit, especially if you like strong (8%+) stouts and sours. It’s also still a relatively unknown gem, so not too crowded. The place feels genuine with really chill vibes, drinking surrounded by giant kegs and even a beer piano! The beers themselves are of course fantastic too, with some of the best stouts in the UK - Highly recommended!
