About Birchwood
A 1960s pub situated within a contemporary housing estate. The interior has been redecorated in 2015 with a function room to the rear which is also used as a dinning room for Sunday lunch. Outside there is a paved area with seating and a covered smoking area. Live music on is on Friday and Sunday evenings, a quiz night on Thursdays, chess on Mondays and cribbage on Tuesdays.

We hired the function room for the celebration of life for my partner after her passing and to be honest, we could not have found better. The staff were wonderful and were great help. They provided some of the hot food, and this went down so well. They tended the bar for us too, and the whole thing went off so well. If you want a nice function room for any event, then you must concider this place.

We used their function room for a wake. I cannot speak highly enough of the room, which was immaculate. The food was outstanding (plenty of it, as well) and the staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. If you need a room for a family occasion, don't hesitate to contact them, they will look after you really well!

Hired the function room for a wake after my Mum's funeral yesterday. I honestly cannot praise the staff high enough for the way they looked after us. From the initial booking to the end of the evening, everything was perfect. The food was amazing and all freshly prepared and was laid out as good as any hotel i've stayed in. The way the room was decorated was very welcoming and everybody remarked on what was a perfect send off it was for my Mum.

Absolutely stunning Sunday Roast (we’ve tried both beef and chicken). Without a doubt worth the trip from anywhere in London and beyond. Superb service too. We’ll definitely be coming back
