Lovely pub. Staff were friendly and attentive. Went for a Sunday roast, food was delicious. Minor improvement would just be the Yorkshire Pudding as it was hard and dry but the rest of the meal was wonderful.

I recently visited The Crossing and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed by the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive throughout my visit. A special mention goes to the General Manager, Seb. His genuine friendliness and dedication to making every guest feel at home truly stand out. One of the highlights of my evening was the lovely jazz night. The live music added an elegant and soothing ambiance, making it the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable evening. The wine selection was also impressive, with a variety of…

First time visiting and popped in for a swift pint. Upon entering I completely missed the wall of beer taps and thought they only had 1 draught lager but the bar man kindly pointed out the obvious wall of taps !... I opted for a pint of Amstel which was a tad expensive compared to other pubs but it's common when the pub is pristine and in a nice area. The pub as mentioned was pristine, clean and had a nice quiet atmosphere for a Monday afternoon. I suspect this is popular with locals and gets busy in evenings and weekends. Outside was an awesome walled garden with pizza oven and from…

Randomly fell upon this gem of a public house today...we were visiting our children who recently moved to the area. We were walking around trying to find a nice Sunday roast. For some reason we found The Crossing and what a great first choice. The bar staff were so welcoming and friendly...food was absolutely spot on (especially the lamb!) and the cocktails were amazing. 10 out of 10 vibe! We will definitely be paying another visit next time. Thank you for a great afternoon!!

Guys I just need to tell you how glad I am that you are our local pub! Visited last night with a friend (my 3rd or 4th visit in the last two to three weeks) and we had steaks… they were honestly amazing, the best I’ve had in a long time!! So glad the pizzas are back as they’re incredible too & great value. The smoked salmon salad, pastas & croquettes all excellent. Literally everything top notch. Service is always efficient & so friendly. You make us feel very welcome. I had to write as I went to The River Cafe for my birthday a few days ago… wish I had just come to The Crossing as it’s…
