About Crown
Traditional pub with original features & a garden, plus a warm restaurant, sports & cocktails.
This large and spacious landmark pub built in the 1730s, reopened May 2013 after a substantial refurbishment that enhanced the Georgian heritage of the original building, and created a new courtyard garden. There are 3 fireplaces (one 'real'), several separate seating areas, and a number of windows and doors are listed. The Victorian hall to the back of the pub has also been opened up. It is situated next to Marble Hill Park and a short walk from the river Thames. Their web site states 'Our pub is really for adults; however, well behaved, younger children are welcome seated at a table in the bar up until 6pm and in the restaurant until 7pm'. The Crown was sold to Young's PLC in March 2020.
The pub is reopening on the 15th June 2023 after an extensive refurbishment that started on the 1st June. NB. This is now a CARD ONLY payment pub/restaurant.

Lovely pub in Twickenham with so nice food and drinks. Last Sunday i have been here by myself for Sunday roast. I really enjoyed my pork loin and so crispy potatoes with season vegetables and gravy. One thing what i didn't like it's what i was supposed to pay straight away for my food and drinks as no one will come around to take my order. My roast looked really nice, but I don't like when gravy comes already on the plate, not in a little gravy boat. Price for roast around 20£. For lunch/dinner per one person with drink with be around 35£.

We’ve been coming to The Crown for almost 5 years and decided it would be the perfect location for our small, informal wedding reception. From our initial enquiry right the way through to closing time on the day we cannot fault Michelle (Manager) and her amazing team. The food was simply amazing and we had some difficult guests to please. Not one person could fault the food. The atmosphere was amazing and the team were simply superb. We often wished we lived next door to the venue, but in reality, thank goodness we don’t…we’d never be out the place. The Crown, we simply love you!

We celebrated our wedding in the private room at The Crown. Everything was perfect. Excellent service and the food was delicious. All our guests commented positively and it was the best celebration. Big shout out to Michelle and her team especially Freddie, Hannah and Milind who served us. We were able to decorate the table and room to our liking and the staff were very accommodating of this, allowing us to decorate in the morning.

We had a lovely time. We came in to celebrate my graduation. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was amazing and was happy to help with any questions we had towards the menu. Definitely recommend for an event or celebration.

Lovely food and lovely service. Child friendly and beautiful setting. Delfina was our server and she was very accommodating. I'm also grateful to Michelle for holding the booking open when we were running late.
