About Danson Stables
Pub-restaurant in converted 18th-century stables with courtyard, serving menu of international food.
Attractive conversion of the 1760 stable block for the palladian mansion called Danson Park. Opened as a pub in 1997 by Bass then M&B. One of a large batch sold to Stonegate in 2010.Great location in parkland but hard to access on foot as in the evenings only the Danson Road entrance is open, but during the day other entrances are available. Not that big inside. Popular on summer evenings.

Always a good spot for a few drinks and food .the most dog friendly place w er they have their own me u eben!!🤣 Always busy especially in summer and plenty of space inside and out. Historical 18th century building part of the big house originally. Also right by the big kids playground and the gardens of the park

Located within Danson Park, great atmosphere and nice outdoor seating area at the front and rear. Plenty of parking spaces in front, please note £4 parking charge (charge by the park) applies during the weekend and bank holiday Dog friendly too 🐶

We waited 30 minutes before someone took our order, another 20 minutes after that for a beer and soft drink to arrive. Staff didn’t seem like they knew what was going on. However the grounds and building are lovely.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch . The food was tasty and good value and the promotion for a free bottle of wine was a nice extra! What prompted this review was that the service is great, all the staff are very friendly and helpful and everything is so efficient. It looked like there were some new bar staff being trained who were doing great and the more experienced staff were at hand to answer any questions they had straight away. The staff who bring out food were also very helpful and engaged really nicely with our toddler.

We hired a room for a 40th party birthday last Saturday and what a fantastic success it was!. The venue itself is beautiful and sets the scene well for a party. We had guests from afar and they were all impressed with this little gem set in such pretty parkland. The deluxe buffet was absolutely delicious. A plentiful spread which catered for all tastes and was good value for money. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the manager, Andrew made the whole event a pleasure.
