The Foxley Hatch closed as a Wetherspoon pub on 3 December 2023, but was reopened later in the month by the Redhouse Pub Group. Quiz night is Thursday and noticeboards advise of upcoming DJ nights, live bands, sports TV and other events. The pub intends to reopen the kitchen and start serving food in the near future. For now customers are encouraged to bring and enjoy their own food.

Another great pub! Friendly staff. Good food. I had the ham and cheese panini (forgot to take a picture). It was delicious! You can order from the app and they'll bring it to your table. There was no gas for carbonated drinks, but that was minor. They had bottled cider which is just as good as what's on tap. Plenty of seating. There are also a few tables outside in the front. Restrooms are clean, large and upstairs. There is also a handicapped restroom on the ground floor.

Fantastic to see the Foxley Hatch back open and better than ever. Good to have a bit of music with your pint. great selection of beers to, love a London Pride.

Brilliant pub in Purley. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Sports being played on two large tv screens, drinks are reasonably priced and music played in the background. The Landlady has done an amazing job in re-opening the pub and ‘breathing new life’ into the former Wetherspoons - well done!

They have started doing live music! Went to see The Boston Brew in Feb and it was great. They plan to do food by March.

I don't recommend to anyone to visit this place. The manger lady just been fighting with other customer because just didn't like the way the manager been spoken to her, pub reopened without food provided, Rude manager and owner. And think both they haven't got any idea about the hospitality. Staff behind the bar are lovely, and extremely helpful and with good quality of customer service.
