Pub/restaurant turning out Modern British cuisine with Mediterranean influences, plus pub classics.
Originally dating from the 17th C, this former inn is in the heart of old Hayes, once an old village but now much expanded. Today, the George is a much modernised smart upmarket pub/restaurant. The menu changes with the seasons and is modern British, with some Mediterranean influences. But customers who just want to enjoy a pint or two without eating are also welcomed.
Redesigned in 2010 as a "country inn", this was previously an Ember Inn under its owners Mitchells & Butlers.

The first time here wasn't expected to be so nice. The decor is nice, and clean cocktails are delicious, and food is a good value for the money. Definitely recommended 👌 Service is also nice and very polite. We will be back ( living super close). Ps: my filet steak was top notch well done to the chef!

Great local pub in Hayes, Bromley. Warm and welcoming, with traditional pub grub that is of a good standard, a menu that has a varied selection of options to cater for all tastes, and that represents decent value for money. If you are in the area, pop into this pub and enjoy a hearty meal in a family friendly environment. To all the team at The George, keep up the good work!

Our waitress Bethany gave us excellent service, an asset to the team. Food was amazing, especially the linguine pasta and the chocolate bomb!
