About Gilpin's Bell
Spacious chain venue, with sport TV, real ales and all-day pub food. No away fans on match days.
An ex-Wetherspoons pub converted c.1997 from an old motorcycle showroom.
During a cull of 50+ pubs in March 2016, Wetherspoon sold the pub to the owners of the nearby Coach & Horses. Looks and feels just like it was. The only pub in the area suitable for families.

Update 11/09/23 According to a report in the Enfield Despatch Enfield Council have approved plans for an 18 storey block on the Gilpins Bell site.

Absolutely horrific service. Food took an hour to come. I ordered a chicken burger and got given a bread bun and a dry chicken breast. I wish took a picture before I added mayo for you all to see. I went to the front and all I asked for was some cheese in my burger. I was shocked of the quality of food as this is something I could have made in my sleep at home. I wasn’t aware these guys classified a burger as just a bun and meat, no sauce or salad. I spoke with the manager who needs a lesson or two in basic customer service skills. One of the first things I said was I don’t want to argue and…

Absolute shambles after the nfl game, accepting orders without having the capacity to fulfill them. Waited an hour before I asked them and they said they didn't have the stock complete it and offered a refund. Pretty sure they wouldn't have done a thing if I hadn't have complained. Desperately need to understand their own limitations and act accordingly.

Has to be the best value fish & chips in London. Only £8 and great quality. You won't get it cheaper or better.

First time here and the atmosphere was great. Staffs was friendly from start to finish. Would go back👏 lots of space inside and out in the garden can hold different events

Good pub for a pre-match pint (Spurs fans only). Nice beer garden. Match parking by arrangement. Great service. Affordable prices. Worth a visit.
