A surprisingly rural looking pub for the area, dating from 1640. Recently sympathetically refurbished with several seating areas and varying floor levels; look out for low beams (though they are padded). There are two gaming machines close to the bar. The outside seating area at the front and large garden to the side provide good views of aircraft passing directly overhead on their way in to Heathrow Airport - they can also be clearly heard. The cost of tickets for the car park can be refunded in the pub.

During my time in the area for work, I decided to stop by the Green Man. This cozy traditional pub offers delicious and straightforward meals in a classic pub grub style. When I arrived, it seemed like they were in the process of changing menus. Nonetheless, I was still able to enjoy my favorite Chicken Ham Leek pie, which they fortunately still had available. The bar lady/landlady provided excellent service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all patrons, whether they were regulars or newcomers like myself. Great pub at very good prices. This is a very well run pub, that has service with a smile. The food is very tasty and there are some good deals. A 17th century pub that has a great history.

We found this place by luck, and was a really nice surprise the food was so nice long ago I didn't have a nice Sunday roast and also the pie was perfect. The atmosphere make you feel welcome and the team is kind and ready to help. Is kids friendly and is good for family who wanna enjoy a meal. Don't forget the wings and the spice sauce was so flavour and rich. A place to come back for sure. They have menu for kids Menu for seniors ( surprised me first time I see a place have options with good menu for good price for senior people ) Vegetarians and for everyone

I've been told it's a place where you can sit and watch aircraft from London. Heathrow we were there about 2 hours. Didn't see one plane.. while this place is a wonderful little out of the way place, the service was wonderful. The drinks were great but the food tasted like it was something that was frozen and microwaved won't be eating there again. But I'd definitely go back and look for airplanes and have a beer.
