Staying locally we have visited this venue a few times with our children and 2 dogs. A very friendly, welcoming fun place that has a fantastic atmosphere. Due to refurbishing the kitchen, food was not available. However, the pub owners recommended, adjacent is a barge boats on the canal "Baltic Seafood" where we could purchase food and bring back to the pub to enjoy. The TV was showing live sport and we al enjoyed playing a game of darts too.

Definitely don’t give this pub a miss, especially if you want a good time with affordable drinks. Everyone was so lovely, but special shout out to both the lovely Tara and Kellie who manage the pub are beyond friendly and make the pub a great atmosphere….will definitely be coming back again.! Highly recommend this pub 🌟

"We haven't done food for six years". So don't believe the website! But landlord is very helpful, can order in from local takeaways and eat in the pub. He has the menus! Also a seafood boat on canal, recommended. Charging point for phones for us boaters and a good pint.

This pub I can describe was really unpleasant first experience going there I felt really uncomfortable and targeted as a person of colour. The staff not really welcoming for people of colour I didn’t feel welcoming on Sunday euros game when I went to go sit down in there.

Didn’t try the food, staff were friendly bar lady called my partner darling, so very friendly. We sat outside on the bench as it was a good day but inside by bar was dark and dingy. Prices were decent
