Visited this pub for a couple of pints on a Thursday afternoon. I can't really comment about the atmosphere or food so leaving as a 3 star for now. They have a pretty nice big beer garden with loads of potential. Not sure if they use the BBQ area, but it would be perfect to hire for a birthday party in the future. I will go back again to try the food and update my review.

Awful pub - bunch of locals sit around the bar all day long and you feel like an unwanted guest in a strangers house. Bin the place off!

Not been to the Harold Wood area before so searched Google for a Wetherspoons in the area and The Harold (wrongly) came up . I first realised it may not be a Wetherspoons as, when we visited at 1pm on a sunny Thursday, it was virtually empty...not like any other Wetherspoons I've been to. Only had a quick drink and no food but it seemed ok. The interior of the pub looked very smart and may have recently been updated. There was also a pool table and a beer garden.

Fairly chilled mid of the week day, drinks at a reasonable price and friendly staff - I would highly recommend.
