About London Hospital Tavern
Sprawling, brick-walled pub serving an American-style menu with burgers & fries.
Historically this was the London Hospital Tavern (named after the hospital next door), renamed in 2000. Ex-Allied, Ex Punch. Medium-sized interior, broken up by paneled pillars, wood & glass screens, and glass display cases. Busy enough during the week with a relaxed atmosphere, can be heaving towards the weekend with medical and student custom.

A strange place with an old tavern interior in a modern exterior. The burger and Cajun chips were excellent. The beers are fine but your standard branded options plus a house brewed alternative. Toilets clean. Decent enough seating up view sports on the box. Atmosphere was reasonable enough. Odd place just opposite Whitechapel station but worth popping into if in the area.

A spontaneous visit here for a quick refreshment, turned into a memorable afternoon of food, drink and above and beyond hospitality! Simone and Kiera were amazing and are a credit to the venue, great chat and recommendations. Good chat with the manager who was passionate and ambitious about the place too. Couldn’t praise this place enough 👏🏻

Lively little pub, that most travellers possibly miss Its very close to the hospital so I guess thats the main purpose. We had some lovely food and a fun banter with the locals

Great ambience. Safe and friendly. Delicious food. Very dog friendly too, which is always a bonus! It has a charm that will want you to return. I hope to soon

Good atmosphere during a quiet Monday bit I heard is so busy. £20 for three paints,a bag of crisp and a bag of peanuts, normal London prices.
