About Marquis of Wellington

Low-key neighbourhood pub providing pizza, craft beer, cask ales and a spacious beer garden.

A typical interwar estate pub, the Marquis of Wellington sits on Druid Street close to the railway arches that house a number of breweries on the 'Bermondsey Beer Mile'. Having been closed since January 2015, it reopened in November 2016 under the management of the Bermondsey Pub Company. Real ale has been introduced from local breweries as well as an extensive range of keg and bottled beers. Food is provided in the form of stone baked pizzas. 3 handpumps. Recent experience is of cask ale not always being available here, at February 2023.

Had to kill some time before the breweries on the beer mile opened and this was a great choice. The vibe is nice and the beer selection is pretty decent. They kindly put golf on the TVs for us. If you are looking for somewhere to grab a drink and a bite in this area, you have found it.

Huge pub on the Bermondsey beer mile. Really nice place. Friendly service. Very popular so gets very busy. Great choice of drinks. Reasonable prices.

Came to watch a game, sat outside and looked at the game through the window. Super vibe, one of the best pizzas we have eaten! Not soggy, crisp super good!

Thoroughly enjoy pints and this pub, lovely welcoming atmosphere, and fun time decor. Krystal is a great member of staff, always very friendly and knowledge on the alcoholic beverages on sale. Delicious crispy bits of pork. Very nice salty bits at the end of the bag. Toby, Sharon and Killian always remember my order which is appreciated and nothing to do with the sheer amount of times I come here. Because I love the pub. Oh also the plants are very nicely cared for, which is always nice to see. Great location for me and the beer mile.

Lovely pub between London Bridge and Bermondsey Station, a short distance from the rammed Bermondsey High St establishments. This place has improved over the past few years. Their pizzas have gotten better. I'm only docking a star because that inferno hot sauce nearly knocked me out! be warned! Decent selection of beers and non alcoholics which is handy for me for midweek drinking. Lovely staff too and plenty of outside space
