About North Star
Community pub in a former beer shop with an outdoor terrace and several bar areas.
Three room ex Ind Coope pub each one divided by a fireplace. Following a 2014 refurbishment the front bar has been removed. Still much wood and many large mirrors in evidence, there is now some bare brickwork and wood painted white with fake blotches. The white ceilings help give a brighter look. Lots of comfortable sofas and tables from low to high. The garden patio runs beside the pub and is partially covered and heated. Built in the early 1800's, it is locally listed as it "displays a very unusual design. Also its compact scale and eclectic detailing represent a novelty within the townscape of The Broadway."

I've visited The North Star quite a few times for a drink but unfortunately tonight really needed a review to warn others. It's ok inside and the atmosphere is pretty good. The service isn't particularly friendly but tonight the food (value for money) was really poor. I tried the chicken wings and chicken tenders, they're on the menu for £9.50 each but there was a 2 for 1 offer on so cost £9.50 instead of £19 (the barmaid also said you couldn't mix & match but the menu said otherwise). Even at this price the serving size was absolutely awful, barely a snack and about the same size as you get…

The North Star Pub is truly a gem in the community. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The drinks and food are fantastic, but what really stands out is how well the place is run. Sarah, the pub manager, is incredible. You can see how much she cares about both her staff and customers. Her leadership is evident in the way everything flows seamlessly, even on the busiest nights. It’s clear that she’s built a team that genuinely enjoys working there, and it shows in their exceptional service. She’s approachable…

Great pub just as you walk down Ealing Broadway. Unmissable. Really spacious pub with tv screens for football and any other sports. Absolutely incredible atmosphere. Loved the food there. Great menu and amazing food.
