Me and toddler came for afternoon lunch, very friendly welcome feom the managers and Cindy, reasonableh prices, clean, little toy corner and treats for those with dogs. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely menu I had the fish with prawns and son had dippers from kids menu. Have been previously a few weeks before and we shared the posh fish and chips. Definitely a stop when I'm passing.

Absolutely abysmal. When we went up to order we were told the kitchen was closed and would be opening in ten minutes (4:45) so we ordered and waited. At 5:15 my partner went up to ask the bar staff where the food was after half an hour wait where they pointed at the chef sitting down on her phone watching videos. The bar staff then advised that she was going to “start cooking it now” after half an hour, we received our food at half past 45 minutes after ordering, although it was well cooked (which I’d expect after 45 mins) the food then arrived with a hair in it (as pictured) I might add that…

Super dog friendly pub with great affordable food. Never disappointed with an Ember inn, food is very much like Green King with affordable options and large portions. The Sunday roast was questionable, looked quite dry and lacking veg, however the burgers are great, juicy and large portion. Loads of pints on offer such as Camden Hells and Pale ales. Dogs are very welcome with treats and water provided at no cost. Free parking, would definitely return and sets a high standard for the Ember inn brand.

New temporary General manager Ryan is fantastic and made us feel so welcome on our visit, very attentive, but not overwhelming, it is order at the bar or on the app but that didn’t take away from the experience, it is a pub after all, it is a worn pub but explained to us it is due a full refurb next year so can’t wait to look out for that! If you’ve gone recently and had a bad experience, I would urge to go back as we now definitely will be going more often! Shepard’s pie and the wings are great!

Location, building and facilities were great. Had high expectations. Don't waste your time and money. Food and service was awful. Waited nearly 2 hours for my meal. Was processed frozen food. Everyone was given their meal at different times so unable to eat together. Meat was like rubber. Vegetables were hard. One meal was given to wrong person as the person who served it didn't seem to understand English and walked around in a daze. Worst place I have ever eaten. Have only given one star because zero stars is not an option.
