Absolutely lovely quaint hotel!! We loved our time spent at the Red Lion. Impeccably kept rooms, wonderful snack assortment and refreshments restocked daily for complimentary tea. The staff are very kind, friendly and attentive, especially Nancy!! We visited from the US and we would love to return. The attached pub and outside patio seating is exceptional also. The hotel and rooms are very aesthetically pleasing, the grounds and flowers, and the bathroom toiletries are a very nice brand. A bit off the hustle and bustle path, great breakfasts (we opted for the included daily breakfast, a…

This is a great hotel with a lot of little extras that makes a stay notable. The front of house and bar service was very good, genuine and helpful. The food was very well presented and someone had made a lot of effort to produce a very good meal. The complimentary drink token and 10% of your food was a nice touch and having chilled water and fresh milk in the mini fridge, along with artisan coffee and hand made chocolates in your room was a bit of a treat. Not quite five star as some areas of the accommodation are maybe a little tired, but I would recommend given how much effort goes into…

Stayed here for 3 days for a family wedding 💒. Staff are brilliant 👏. Rooms clean and tidy. Added bonus of a hairdryer and iron/ironing board. Fresh towels every day. Lovely place to stay. Advisable to book as very busy. Thank you 😊 Red Lion. Would definitely recommend.

Just spent the evening having the most enjoyable time with people popping in for drinks and others staying at the hotel. What a great evening enjoying the local band the stiles play, they never disappoint. You can be assured of a fantastic evening with everyone singing and dancing to their music. Fantastic evening lovely pub and great entertainment to the extent a couple of people came up to me and said it’s like being abroad. I really hope this can happen again. What a lovely evening Great pub lovely location with good choice of drinks and food. Will definitely be going back again and look…

Family meal at the Red Lion on Hillingdon Hill (26/8/24), welcoming pub/hotel with enjoyable outdoor space, the menu was not cluttered, the choices are good and tempting, pub classics and new dishes. We have visited before and can recommend the crispy Norfolk chicken wings for starters because they are delicious and perfectly crispy, this visit we tried something different and every course was really good, food was served hot, the haddock and bacon linguine was delicious, steak was flavoursome and tender, chips were piping hot, fluffy & crispy. Every course, starters/mains/desserts/coffee…
