Just had my birthday lunch at the R&C. The food was cooked to perfection, friendly and professional staff, with a warm welcome. Dogs welcome. Good selection of draft beers. Highly recommended 5star

Great local pub in historic building with parking and country walks. Excellent food that's distinctive and imaginative alongside typical pub fare. Eclectic range of starters, very good for small plates to share. Menu changes regularly, Sunday menu is more about roasts. Run by Stephanie and Allan, Stephanie creates a relaxed and family friendly local pub atmosphere, while husband and Head Chef Allan spent over 11 years as a sous chef at a 2 Michelin star restaurant and brings creativity and flair to their menu. Well worth a look for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The pub has a large beer garden…

Just outside the fabulously re-wilded, White Webbs Golf Course. Full of people who had just walked (many with lovely dogs) in one of the most magical areas of Forty Hall Estate. Long may it remain!

We went here for a family and friends gathering after a funeral. The staff were really friendly and helpful, service and food was really good. A lovely tradition pub.
