The Royal Oak has quickly become one of my all-time favorite pubs, and my dad and I keep coming back for more! We went for lunch yesterday, and as always, it didn’t disappoint. The pub has a dark, slightly gloomier atmosphere that I absolutely love—it’s cozy, inviting, and the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff are always friendly and add to the warm vibe. I had the mac and cheese with a side of garlic bread, and my dad had the bacon beef cheeseburger. Both meals were excellent! I have been to this pub a few times now, and decided to finally give it a rating after having seen the quality of service multiple times. The food is alright, and is served shortly after ordering, however if you use the app, the food might not show up until you go to the bar and ask for it. Me and my friends went here recently and were met with a rude waitress who was not interested in helping out, which really downgraded our experience. This was a lovely pub that accommodated a small wedding party for us. It was lunchtime, and they kindly warned us the kitchen was closing soon. They had a little table I didn't get to use! Very lovely pub, just let down by the horrible ladies toilet. A few were out of service, one was blocked up, and the only one working was full of flies. The food was okay. I liked my scampi. I was disappointed the steak sandwich I wanted was sold out. Other than that, the atmosphere was very friendly at this pub, and the service was brilliant.

Really nice pints. Lovely atmosphere. A nice pub 👍 updating my review because i couldn't review twice. SUZIE and DANIELs customer service was awesome. So friendly, so welcoming! But in general all the staff I come across and absolutely lovely. Can't say the same for all pubs. Thanks for having such a lovely environment
