Very nice pub, recommend coming on Sunday to get the Sunday lunch as it is just perfection. Drinks are however a bit overpriced (4.50 for a coke) and a pint is around 5.30. However we did order some horseradish that never came as it was “in the oven” when the waiter came we jokingly said “cancel the horseradish” and he didn’t seem to even know we ordered it?! But the staff are friendly enough and altogether it’s a pretty good ‘classic’ pub.

Visited here on Monday 29th July. Staff were all welcoming, lovely atmosphere and food was amazing. My daughter had the Mac and cheese (she is hard to please and said how delicious it was) and my husband and I had the sea bass. All the dishes were piping hot and really tasty. One of the best pub meals I’ve had in a very long time. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We booked a table here to eat last night as a treat during our stay at Chessington World of Adventures Hotel. We were all so impressed by the whole experience, the staff were all exceptional - from the lovely lady who took our order, the friendly chatty waiters and the barman who gave us tips for the theme park. The food was served super quickly and was absolutely delicious, huge fish and chips, stunningly rich steak pie and the triple cooked chips were incredible. The pub itself is really lovely, clean, lots of space and a building with great traditional character. Even including a round of…

I popped in a few days and I was amazed by the great food, atmosphere and staff. I was served by Sofia and she made my party feel welcomed. I had the signature burger and a crumble. 10/10 would recommend!
