About Silver Fox
This very welcome addition to the long line of micropubs in Bexley borough opened on the 4th July 2020, the first day pubs were legally allowed to sell on-premises drinks following the Covid-19 lockdown.
Seating is provided inside at wall-mounted high bench seats and tables at the front, with some normal height tables and chairs towards the rear. There are usually six tables in the roped-off forecourt at the front, in a small parade of shops in a quiet suburban setting. It was previously a shop containing a dry cleaning business in a previously unpubbed district, so is well patronised by local residents. Unlike most micropubs, recorded music is sometimes played.
Beer is served from casks by gravity, mostly from local brewers.
In addition keg beers, wines, spirits and cocktails are sold. Last orders must be placed 30 minutes before closing time.

First time here. Came on a Friday night and it was full. 3 cask ales to choose from but a number of other bottles as well. Nicely laid out and the staff helpful and friendly. Clean and decent toilets. Recommended.

Pleasantly surprised by this backstreet suburban bar. Good selection of drinks including some great cask ales, atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the staff were very cheery and friendly. I will be visiting again, great job!

Great little micro pub. The staff are great with a sense of humour. I love their charity events to raise money for a local school. Prices are brilliant and it's easy to book a table for an event

Not been here as often as I could have due to the pandemic, but have enjoyed every visit. It's a micropub, so not large, but has a good choice of beers and ciders and wide range of spirits including several gins. Also, has seating inside and out. Went to their pub quiz evening last night which was great fun. Friendly and attentive staff and the bonus for me? It's just around the corner!!

Nice atmosphere, welcoming staff and good Bexley Brewery beers including the delicious new brew Bursted Bitter and at decent prices. Not really exactly a "micro pub" as they have a wide range of other drinks including, following the current fashion, an impressive assortment of flavoured gins, but as a small local bar it's doing a great job. Good covid precautions in place - it's best to book a table in advance or you may be turned away.
