  Great pub especially for the Sunday roasts we was there today ,I got the booking time wrong my fault got there an hour late the lovely landlady was brill still served us five even tho was a busy Sunday, thank you definitely be back great pub Sunday roast meat choice outstanding

  Delicious food, lovely location & EXCELLENT customer service! We felt that the whole team at the Stag constantly looked after us & our guests and we honestly couldn’t ask for more. We had a wonderful day and that’s all thanks to them! Many thanks to Chris & his team. This was a very special occasion and somehow you managed to make it even more special. Thank you!

  Have been here twice now and each time has been a delight. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and efficient. The food was served hot and was very tasty and filling. This is one of the best pubs I have been to and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

  We had a summer party at the stag for our staff and subbies - over 40 people were looked after all day from the team - we had excellent service all day from the Stag Team. The bbq food buffet was excellent, very reasonable per head and there were no complaints. Cannot thank you enough for making that day special See you same time next year.

  I think we’ve found our new favourite roast and a great midway point to meet family! Quite a last minute impromptu phone call and we were squeezed in for a Sunday Roast. Our greeting was warm and friendly and this continued with the service throughout. The food was sublime, definitely the best roast we’ve had in a long time. Just trying to find another weekend when everyone’s off work to meet in the middle again!
