Refurbished and renamed in early 2012, this is a large, open plan pub next to the station that caters for all ages. It has a good community feel with mini-discos, live music, etc. The rear garden is well used in the summer and there is also a front patio. Live sport on TV is a regular feature and there a darts board. Guest beer can be from local breweries. The pub has an interesting mock Tudor upper level and roof, for which it has grade II listing status. There is an upstairs function and meeting room for hire that can cater for up to 200 people. A Ukelele club meets in the function room every three weeks.

The senior menu at The Station for lunch is fantastic - it offers a variety of delicious options at affordable prices. The car park is conveniently located, making it easy for seniors to access the restaurant. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I had a great experience dining here and would definitely recommend it to others. Overall, The Station is a great spot for seniors to enjoy a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

Fantastic pub! Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of drinks. The food was top-notch, especially the burgers. Perfect spot for a relaxed evening with friends. Highly recommend!. Anna - great job.

First time coming here since the refurbishment and its so much nicer inside. Really dog friendly and the whole feel seems cleaner and more modern. The hot honey burger was delicious and the staff were really lovely.

Food was lovely, bar staff were very friendly and warm, and Anna was very sweet to my two children when they asked for their desserts. The place was clean, neat and the garden was lovely with a few garden toys out for the kids to have fun with.

Amelia was a great server she is really nice and friendly! The drinks also tasted great!
