British dishes pair with ales & spirits at this relaxed Wetherspoon pub with old-school furnishings.
Situated in the middle of Sidcup's shopping parade, this is more compact than your usual Wetherspoon pub and has lots of nooks and crannies. The large internal support pillars can make it seem fuller than it really is. There is the usual constantly-changing guest ales, often with some from local breweries. Sky news is always on the television screen by the main door. There is often a Black Dragon cider by Gwynt y Ddraig available, though this doesn't meet CAMRA's definition of real cider.

In Sidcup for a funeral, we were in need of somewhere reliable and reasonably priced for an evening meal - where else but a Spoons? Good beer, very reasonably priced. Standard Spoons menu, but tasty and well-presented. Most important, excellent friendly service!

£5.90 large breakfast added £1.30 for 2 slices of black pudding, coffee £1.35 get free refills. Great food well cooked lavazza coffee good. Clean premises, staff prompt and polite. All in all a good experience. Keep up the good work ✌️

Great Wetherspoons pub. Compact and friendly. Good value food and drink. Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! (Credit to your cleaner! ) Good place to visit. Good breakfasts too, enjoyed.

Visited with my husband for a bite to eat and drinks before a night out. The service we received was excellent (I didn't get our waiter's name. He was wearing a shirt, could have been the manager). He was very friendly and accomodating. The food was very good and excellent value for money. All the bar staff were very friendly. Highly recommended and we will be back soon.
