Beautiful pub that harkens back to a time long gone. Great selection of beer and wine. Food is fresh and tasty with a decent choice of vegetarian dishes. The cauliflower tandoori was great but not hot (temperature) as I would expect. Other dishes also arrived cool. Plenty of seating inside and out. Helpful staff. Very dog friendly.

I had lunch here for the first time and really liked the place. It starts with getting there, you feel you are deep in the countryside while you are actually in London. Parking is easy and the gastropub has good parking and a nice outdoor seating area. . We were seated fast and without fuss and the place smells pleasant. The menu was more interesting than some other gastropubs I felt. I had the chicken liver for starters which was excellent. Main was a Caesars Salad with chicken which was good. Pricing was adequate considering the quality and location. All in all a good experience and I will…

I have been visiting this pub for over 3 years. It has changed drastically recently, especially the food quality. Last time I visited for fish and chips, the chips were not cooked properly. I thought that was just an isolated incident, as this pub has always provided food of a high standard. However, I visited again today, and it was not the case. The size of the fish was much smaller than before, and the fries were cold—worse than the ones I've ordered from McDonald's via Deliveroo. I quickly scanned through the recent comments on the pub and realized they have changed management. I…

What a wonderful find in Putney Heath! This beautiful and rustic gastropub offers an idyllic respite, a perfect pint and a creative menu. Lots of outdoor tables, as well. The interior feels cozy and quintessentially British!
