Love the new refurbished look. Food was yummy. We also had sides but to be honest, portions were generous, which my husband loved! Lulu our waitress was absolutely fabulous. Thank you for a delicious Sunday lunch and to Lulu for taking care of us. Mel xxx

We had Sunday lunch at the Thatched House today, probably one of the best pub roasts I’ve ever had!! My husband and I shared the pate starter and I had the turkey and my husband had the lamb!! Clear plates says it all at the end! All the staff were friendly and the service was fabulous!! The place is looking lovely and fresh after the refurb too!! Well done team!!

Just love coming here with my family. The food is always amazing especially the roast dinners and the staff are so so lovely. Pleasant, friendly and so welcoming. Also very dog friendly as my dog loves it here with all the fuss and treats she gets. Thank you so much. We need more places like this x

Came with my wife and daughter for Sunday roast. I had the Sunday Trio, which was a slice of roast beef, roast turkey, a bit of pork belly and a pig in blanket. Can't complain about the portion sizes - so much veg and a decent cut of meat! The beef was a little over done and the fat on the pork belly was too soft for my tastes (I like mid-rare beef, this was well done, I like crispy crackling on top of pork belly, but this was not) but it was delicious nonetheless. First time going in here and was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The restaurant is decorated nicely and even though it was busy it still felt relaxing. Lots of nice paintings on the walls. They offer a dedicated vegetarian menu with lots of delicious sounding options. When the food came it was very tasty, so compliments must be given to the kitchen staff. The wine was of a good quality too. A very big thank you to Louise our lovely server who made it overall even more of an exceptionally enjoyable experience.
