  Went for a hike today in and around Epping Forest. Fancied some Lunch and a glass of something. Had a quick google and ended up here. Varied menu. Although couldn't resist having a try of a London classic. Having this and seeing some other orders coming out the kitchen, you won't be going home hungry. Didn't seem to bother anyone that I obviously wasn't a local. I've emigrated outside the UK so tight schedule and lots to get done, trains to catch etc, but will have to find an excuse to drop in again on next trip over. Thank you for having me.   I highly and wholeheartedly recommend the Three Colts Pub! The food (Sunday roast) was absolutely delicious - and was cooked to perfection 👌🏽 The homemade chocolate brownie was to die for! We had the pleasure of being served by Vicki - who was so lovely, warm and welcoming and really looked after us 😊 Even though it was super busy on a match day - the food came so quickly and the service was impeccable! We even got to meet the Boss who had her Sunday roast sat beside us on the next table! A lovely family pub with wonderful staff and a great atmosphere!

  This pub is a great little find! 😊 From the minute I walked in there with my elderly parents it felt like I’d walked into something special. It’s the kind of place you could go to on your own and people would talk to you. There is a great vibe going on in there. The food was great, memorable touches like their pork pieces served with their own gravy. They were so good we ordered another portion. The staff were attentive and you could see they are a tight knit team with bar staff helping with serving food. I loved the apple crumble and home made curry. This is a gem of a pub with proper pub…

  Thank you to George and the team for looking after us so well last night, we had a great time! I booked the downstairs area for a private function and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub.

  Been here a couple of times and the food has always been spot on. Very dog friendly and they welcomed him with open arms and the locals were very welcoming of him too! We are not local but when we go for a walk in epping forest, we end up at the three colts because they are reliable, lovely and always get the food and service spot on. The lamb roast was faultless.
