About Well & Bucket
Adulterated portraits and shabby-chic original features fill this revamped bar and oyster house.
Reopened by Barworks chain in early 2013 in a contemporary style but with much of the original tiling unveiled. There is an range of 75 bottles from around the world, that includes 750ml bottles suitable for sharing. Food is centred around oysters and sliders (mini bite sized burgers). Although Real Ale is sold this frequently sells out.

The food was delicious - we got a roast and some courgette fries (high recommend the Bloody Mary also). Our waitress was Leah and she was super friendly and helpful. Great casual spot during the day or night!

Great service, atmosphere and reasonable prices! During our time in London we stopped at this pub across the street from our accommodations numerous times. The staff were always friendly and attentive. Shout out to Lizzie - she’s great! We didn’t eat here but enjoyed a few beverages which we found were well priced. There is a great bar with a lot of seating around it. Overall we would definitely return if we’re in the area.

Fun pub around the corner of Brick Lane. Decent wines on offer, the necessary beers and ample seating. I like the position of the bar as it allows for easy access all ‘round. Pretty high ceilings give a more spacious feel than your standard pub and the staff is very laid back. Thoroughly enjoyable! Don’t ask me about the food, I didn’t eat- smelled nice though!

I really enjoyed the fish and chips here! The service was really great. We asked for the sauce multiple times and they didn’t even show any signs of hesitation. It was a truly great experience! Definitely coming here again :)

We picked Well & Bucket for our work social of 60 people, so we hired the private area downstairs and it was perfect. After a full day of workshops the space was exactly what we needed, it was cosy, and the food was incredible too. The ability to play your own music help set the energy for the evening. The staff were all amazing. Cat had everything ready, and they were always available no matter what questions we had or what we needed. Plus the bartenders, were so quick and kind too.
