Reopened 27th Aug 2021 under new ownership after renovation. Grade II Listed, wood-panelled old riverside pub below the River Thames wall, in new housing development. Hot food available every day, including a Sunday carvery. Weekly quiz on Mondays from 8pm, Tuesdays Karaoke, Wednesdays board games and card games, Friday DJ / Live Music, Saturday Open Mic. First Sunday of the month Bingo.

Held a surprise 40th event in The Wharf Pub and as expected they didn't let me down. fantastic venue, fabulous decor and excellent food provided, with many of the attendees commenting on the great quality, varied selection and freshness of the grazing table provided. Music was on point for the event and a great time was had by all. Now to persuade the husband to have a Wharf style lounge at home as love the decor in the river facing bar so very much. Lovely old traditional pub staff are great food is amazing especially Olivia’s tai curry’s.. u will never be disappointed! Also u can enjoy a board game and relax in the new decorated restaurant honestly give it a try.

Found this place on a recommendation from a fellow trucker. 10 minutes walk from purfleet truck wash. Well worth it. Food was spot on and a good choice of beers. Will definitely be back when I'm next in the area. Great greeting from the barman. The pub has character. It's nice to find a traditional British pub. Well recommended to all.

Been here for food lots of times and each time it has been delicious! Roast dinners are amazing! Great staff, very friendly! Events are also very fun!

Just had a banging roast beef dinner! Definitely be coming back again, toilets were clean and smelled lovely! I can’t find a fault loving the decore too! Well done to its lovely friendly staff and management 👏🏻👍🏻
