It's a fabulous village for older people, with such stunning grounds, a residential home a nursing home an extra care facility and home care. Alms houses / cottages for those who are independent. Something for everyone, with lots of volunteers and loads to do. It's a Charity which is something that not everyone knows and all donations are greatly received and put to great use for the people who live there. We are so lucky in this area to have this wonderful place of history on our door step, it even has its own shop post office, club house, museum and stunning church with stained glass…

Very nice residential retirement homes. Whole community, has its own church, swimming pool, village hall, with activities, classes, ladies &mens events. .

Lovely village, lovely atmosphere, a great place to visit, (which we do every year when they have their fund-raising charity Fete). I'd like to go to live there when I retire - if I'm allowed.
