In the very heart of Greenwich town centre this Grade II-listed pub is sited in the extreme north eastern corner of Greenwich Market. Greenwich Hospital. owner of the site, bought back the outstanding lease on the premises in early 2018 and the pub subsequently closed. Re-opened with operator Mosaic Pub & Dining in July 2019. A former Charrington's house, its past existence has been uncovered with the old front fascia pub signage once again extolling this previous ownership. A pub on several levels with a first floor dining room too. Seating in the main bar is at a mix of high stools and high tables and normal height tables and chairs. Toilets are down a flight of stairs from the main bar area. Handpumps remove in 2024.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable with all the facilities needed and the pub was in an excellent position close to the station and as it’s actually part of the Greenwich market buildings it couldn’t be better. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Stayed here for a couple of nights to see a concert at the O2 and see the sights of Greenwich with my parents. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice sized showers/bathrooms. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay, excellent location, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I came here for lunch with my parents. The service was terrible. We were first told to order at bar, and then at the bar, we were told to wait at the table. After we ordered, the table that came later than us had everything served before we had our beer and tap water… we had to ask them for multiple times before they bring water. (I saw some comments after I came home saying the waitress was racist… we are an Asian family, not sure if that was a factor….) The food came very late, and the order was incorrect. When we asked for more sauce, the waitress said yes but never came back. Food was…

Popped in for a quick pint and loved the place. We didn't eat but the food other people had ordered look really nice. We'd booked a table elsewhere but were sorely tempted to cancel it and order here.

This place gets a full stars from me. I wasn't a staying guest, just came for the Sunday roast and it was exceptional! Packed with flavours, huge portion, great price, perfectly cooked meat and veg. Definitely will be returning
