About Albert Arms
A welcoming late 19th century, wood-panelled street corner pub in the centre of Esher. It was named after Prince Albert, who at one time lived nearby. A large bar area with a smaller dining area to the rear, where drinkers are also welcome, and three other dining rooms upstairs, which can be hired for special events. The larger upstairs room is used as an overspill when busy. Mainly high tables in bar area with a few lower ones towards the back A large TV shows special sporting events only. May have more beers in winter months.

Visited this pub for the first time as I have just started working in Esher. John at the bar was extremely friendly and accommodating. Service was fast and the food was great. Had pie of the day. Would thoroughly recommend and will likely be in here every week.

Very bad managment and customer service from managment and bar tender. Managment do not care for their customers and staff, attitude WELL let's you say is very shirty and abrupt and manager was over heard shouting at a staff and controlling them. New manager serving drinks with a bandage on his hand which looked as it was bleeding very unheiginic. Was not made to feel comfortable by bar tender and handling of glasses after puring beer was not very well done. When it came to paying bill it was difficult with their card system had difficulty getting conection, bar tenderer tried to take my card…

Had Sunday lunch with family, went for the roast chicken with all of the trimmings, stuffing cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, carrots and stuffing. Large portion and tasty, menu offers variety, but not too large. My sons had the burgers and chips and m6 wife had the haddock with chips. Good value for money and as it was Father’s Day, my pint of beer was free (nice touch).

Stayed for a few days having come for the races at Sandown Park. Comfortable & clean rooms. The food in the pub was really good especially the roast beef on the Sunday. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay here again

Ok pub, clean,a small but reasonable range of ales, not as friendly as could be but ok for a quick pint. I didn’t eat but menu looked like above average pub fare.
