🚇 Old Street 🍺 £6.50 Pravha The Angel is located just south of Old Street roundabout close to Bunhill Fields. The nearest Tube is Old Street, it’s a two minute walk to get here. This pub was established in 1798, the pub you see today dates from the mid 19th century. The area around Old Street roundabout has significantly changed is recent times. The huge modern buildings are occupied by startup Tech Companies dubbing the area “Silicone Roundabout”. This is a good size pub that is set out over two floors. Booked for Sunday lunch and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and nothing was to much. The food was amazing. Huge portion sizes and excellent quality. Lovely decoration, comfortable temperature and lovely and clean. Very reasonable price for a Sunday roast (£16 for a half chicken March 2024). Would return if I visited London again. 10/10 would recommend

Very welcoming staff, good choice of food. The fish & chips was delicious, so was the pie I’m told. Seated perfectly to see the planes for the King’s birthday. Thanks Justina for the warm welcome. Will definitely come back next time in London.

Visiting from Australia, all we wanted was a Sunday roast which actually proved hard to find at a good price until we stumbled upon this pub. Food was delicious, and staff were lovely. Especially Justina who made sure we had a lovely dinner. Will visit again!
