A large, lively Victorian community pub in Tooting's bustling town centre, the Antelope has an historic interior of regional importance, decorated in the shabby-chic style typical of its operators, Antic.
The main bar area, retaining some Barclay's signage, leads to a dining space and then to the large Rankin Room used to show big-screen sports events.
Large yard at rear.
Sundays feature popular roasts.
Open mic Thursday evenings.
Children welcome until mid evening. There is a quiz night every Monday.

🚇 Tooting Broadway 🍺 £5.25 Pravha The Antelope is located on busy Mitcham Road in the heart of Tooting. The nearest Tube is Tooting Broadway, it is only a two minute walk to get here. This pub was built in 1871 and started life as The Foresters Arms. In 1932, this where a meeting took place to create the Tooting & Mitcham United Football team. We booked a dinner together for the "Christmas buffet" but were told the day of that it was not going to be a buffet but they were accommodating and gave us a 3 course Xmas meal. The food was good and they had huge protions. We were sat in right in front of the bar area so it was quite loud as it was a Friday night but it was okay, just wasn't what we booked. Overall though, I would recommend if you're looking for just pub vibes and simple food.

Great pub. We went as a large group and they were really accommodating. The staff was on top of things. The food was good and delicious. It was busy, but expected for a Saturday night. It's located right off the Bickley Street bus stop.

Good range of beers here, not seen anywhere that does Jaipur before. Bar is big which means there’s never a long queue but can be a bit longer to be served when busy. Nice large beer garden as well

Great pub in the heart of Tooting. Head down on Sundays (4:00) to see some Irish folk music played in the corner whilst you enjoy a Sunday roast. Sports in the back one for everyone
