About Barrel Vault
Spacious, modern Wetherspoon pub featuring hearty meals & an outdoor seating area.
New unit at the north end of St Pancras International railway station, located by the escalators up to the Southeastern High Speed platforms. It has entrances from within the station and on Pancras Road. Opened 1st October 2018 with a name reminding of the time when beer from Midlands breweries was stored in purpose built vaults under the station. There are some decorative wooden casks adorning the roof rafters. A single room pub all on one level with a gently curving bar counter equipped with 12 handpumps in 2 banks, each of 6. Open kitchen and exposed air conditioning ducting. Mon to Sat the pub opens at 6.30am but alcohol is not served until 7am.
Following CAMRA's updated definition of "real cider", pubs such as this selling for example Old Rosie and Orchard Pig or other ciders such as Thistly Cross, Stans, Gwynt Y Draig, Broadoak etc. no longer qualify for the "Real cider" tag.

Nice place located right in the King's Cross/St.Pancras station. Food is good (they offer both breakfast in the morning and lunch/dinner options later, as well as pizzas and deserts). Our personal favorite was fish (cod) and chips, which comes in to sizes - small (pictured) and regular, perfect for smaller and bigger hunger. There is a good selection of beers too, and regular drinks (coffee, tea...). It is quite busy due to it's location (although there are some more chill tables in the back and outside), but the design is cool and fits the history of this place (love the barrels!).

As expected from a Major International Transport location, this site is often crowded and an ongoing challenge to keep clean. Tables are cleared relatively quickly to attract new customers and staff are keen to serve even at the most busy times. Food is the standard 'Spoons' fare but variable in production. My gourmet burger looked tired and was bland to the taste. Nothing unusual for a chain outlet. If you are waiting an onward journey, this is an ideal spot close to the tracks.

A great pub near the train station. It's worth coming early for the train so that while waiting you can have a beer or something to eat at this place. Low prices.

A pub on the inside edge of St Pancras station. £6.50 for a pint of lager is a reasonable price in Central London. Volume levels were high as the pub was very busy making for a great atmosphere. Bar staff were plentiful making the wait for a drink minimal. Though finding a table was hard going. If you need a drink before your journey come here. Food is also served, but having not tried it, I cannot review.

Got off the high speed train at St.Pancras & there it was at the bottom of the steps. Would have been rude not to pop in so had a pint with the wife. Pub was large & on ground floor level. Lots of high stools and high tables which doesn't suit everyone. Quite busy at 1600 when we were there but got a table ok. There was a group of lads behind us & they were loud with exaggerated laughter which was irritating. We stayed half an hour or so. Menu wasn't extensive. No steaks or mixed grills available. We decided to eat elsewhere. Quite a handy location in the train station though. Would happily…
