About Beehive

Simple Wetherspoon pub with a large menu and meal deals plus a range of real ale and European lager.

Consistently good beer and service characterise this Wetherspoon's pub which caters for the broad clientele mix of the local community. It can get extremely busy when the nearby Academy hosts a big band. Good atmosphere; TVs are kept silent. Alcohol served from 9am.

One of the better Spoons I've been to recently. Staff pleasant and friendly, tables clean and food served as described on the menu. Toilets could have done with a little attention- but all in all not a bad experience.

Is what you'd expect, cheap beer Monday's, £2-99 pint of Guinness. I would watch my coat and or bag depending on time of day. Can be a it dodge at times I've been in there, just keep your wits about you and you should be fine.

We didn’t eat so can’t comment on food but we did arrive late and were offered last drinks at our table two minutes before the bar closed. Kicked out with full pints only 5 minutes later and given the option to only neck them (which we didn’t) and no option of plastics. £25 round that we ended up leaving on the table.
