About Bo-Peep

16th-century building with inglenook fireplace, garden with terrace and a contemporary pub menu.

There has been a building on this site since the 14th century when a farmhouse was constructed, and the pub website has much information about its history. Today it is a cosy pub restaurant with several different rooms with low ceilings and an Inglenook fireplace. It is very convenient for Junction 4 of the M25, and parking is available. The menu varies to include seasonal specialities and an emphasis on fish dishes.

Outside restaurant hours (see food times), light bites are available from the bar Monday to Saturday 3pm to 6pm.

Note that last orders are 30 minutes before closing.

Unfortunately, in July 2022, the R7 bus route which used to pass close to the pub was re-routed and no longer does so. So there is no convenient access by public transport any more. The alternatives are a walk of about 1200 metres from the centre of Chelsfield or a longer walk of about 1700 metres from Knockholt station, which is in zone 6. For those interested in walking please consult the Pub Walks section of the Bromley CAMRA website and refer to routes 26 and 27. The link is below.

What a gem of a place! Wonderful pub hidden away down a quiet road. Food was fabulous, in fact we both left absolutely stuffed as willpower seemed to have left us. Lovely friendly staff and clean pretty toilets. We will definitely be going back there again. We went at lunch time and it got quite busy so best phone ahead to book a table. Highly recommend.

Went for lunch with my partner. Both of us pleasantly surprised with the Bo Peep. Great atmosphere, staff very attentive .. Food was very tasty. We had the ham, egg & chips and the ploughman's. Will visit again.

What a find! We were just exploring the smaller towns of England when stumbled upon this cute little restaurant! Kate and Mo were so kind and hospitable to us. And fun to talk to! We got traditional English dishes - bangers and mash and fish and chips. The bangers and mash was served in Yorkshire pudding with delicious gravy. Superb! Thank you Kate and Mo for a wonderful experience. It felt like home away from home!

We’d drive out to new places for Sunday roasts and we were very satisfied with this place. As we entered this cozy and warm vibes pub we were warmly greeted and given a table even though it was full and we had no booking. As a chef I would say that the food was exceptional. Loved the jus, meat cooked right and potatoes just perfect so was presentation (simple but cute). Just hits the spot! 👌🏽 Tap beers were crisp and delicious! They tended to our table constantly but weren’t in your face like some places. Would highly recommend this place. 🩵🙌🏽

Great little country pub. The small menu had great choices. The beer was good too. It was a great finish to the afternoon of golf. Thank you 😊
