A fine pub, The Bread and Roses on Clapham Manor Street is a simple pub with a community feel. There is live music and a theatre here offering entertainment for all tastes. Importantly, there is also beer! Keg or cask, they shall provide. Lovely beer, lovely people and great service. A super place to visit.

Lovely pub in Clapham that is a little off the beaten track but well worth going to. There is plenty of outside seating in front of the pub plus a large garden to the rear. Upstairs there is a theatre, to the rear of the main bar a separate large room plus in the main area a music stage. They serve food which seemed popular with others and they had a large selection of drinks with pricing typical for the area. The service at the bar was fast and efficient with pleasant staff. I went for a music event and with good lighting, a high ceiling and great sound the three artists seen could be…

My partner and I visited The Bread and Rose's pub to watch a play that was held in one of the theatres upstairs. When we arrived around 18.30 the pub was pretty busy as I think there was a live band playing. Bar staff were very polite and helpful, got served very quickly. Mixed crowd old and young but nice enough for us to visit again!

Great little and cozy pub with something going on every night! Check out their website to know what is going on. There is also a small theatre upstairs with intersting and peculiar acts. It feels warm and familiar :)
