About Brookmill
Modern tavern in a 19th-century edifice, offering inventive English grub, spirits & patio seating.
Spacious Victorian corner pub which reopened under new management in 2016, sister pub of the Great North Wood in West Norwood. Much of the original exterior survives but the interior has been modernised and now has a more contemporary feel with a bare-board floor throughout and half exposed brick - half wooden panelled walls. Large windows look out on the world. Has an outdoor area and upstairs function room. Has an open view kitchen and a nice touch is that daily printed menus show the session and date. Simpler bar snacks are available 12-9 daily. Five handpumps serve a changing selection of real ales with a major emphasis on local south London brews.

We recently visited a fantastic pub in Brookmill, and it quickly became one of my favorites. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a great mix of locals and visitors. They offer a solid selection of craft beers, ales, and classic pub drinks, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. The food is also good. We had our wedding reception at The Brookmill. It was our local for years when we lived in Deptford so a sentimental choice for our big day! The venue is beautifully maintained and full of charm, which gave our reception the perfect backdrop. We also took the rooms upstairs, which were not only lovely and comfortable but incredibly convenient for us and our guests. The staff were incredible, from start to finish. An amazing Pub, we have visited it almost daily. With plans on returning a couple more times before returning to the States. Staff makes you feel as if you truly are a Mate! Top notch food and service. Weather it is a Classic Hamburger, fish and chips or the Mega Sunday roast. You will not leave hungry. Thank you for helping my wife and I have such a wonderful trip to England!!!!

I held my wedding reception at the Pub’s function room and it turned out beautifully. The food was delicious and customer service was excellent. Paul and his team were hands on and helped with decorating and changing the room over for the party after our seat down meal. Everything ran smoothly and our guests had a great time. I would definitely recommend for functions or a wedding.

I’ve driven and walked past this pub so many times over the 7 years I’ve lived in Deptford and always thought it looked good. Went in today for a Sunday roast and it didn’t disappoint. The vegetarian roast was amazing. Not at all stodgy and served with a HUGE Yorkshire pud. Would def recommend!
