About Cambria
Classic pub with crystal chandeliers, antique mirrors, leather sofas plus gastro fare and real ales.
Tucked away down one of Camberwell's side streets close to Ruskin Park and having been closed for almost 3 years, the Cambria reopened in March 2022 as the first London outlet of the small Prospect Pubs & Bars chain established by the original founders of Redcomb Pubs (sold to Young's in 2019). The pub was given a substantial refurbishment including moving the bar back to create a larger drinking area and the addition of a rear garden room with retractable roof. The smart, spacious interior retains its wood panelling and flooring. At the rear is a spacious outdoor area complete with a mural by local Brixton Brewery.

Full Review on @hungrybelly.blog Lovely renovated pub. The layout is much better than it was previously. Very attentive service ( our server was Susan - Lovely lady) The menu had a decent selection. We thoroughly enjoyed the starters, mains and particularly the desserts. Great selection of drinks. Lovely chilled vibes and we would definitely return

Booked for Sunday roast as advertised on website. Not finding the roast on the menu I asked the male staff member who dismissively replied that menu on the website is just a sample. The young man should know that is good practice to sample what you actually offer, not what you don’t. He should also learn that is good practice to say goodbye and thank when we leave after three drinks to go looking for a roast… beautiful pub, unfortunately badly managed.

We had an amazing time at the Cambria watching the football yesterday. We went for a roast dinner before kickoff. There was no veggie roast option that day as they'd run out of aubergine. However we asked for a pescetarian alternative and the bar staff / chef were very accommodating and offered to make us a roast with pan-fried fish as an alternative! Delighted with our visit. :)

Excellent pub, great food and drink selection and one of the best pub quiz’s in London . Couldn’t believe it’s not a higher rating!! One of the best and friendliest. People need a head check ha!

Nice pub but really rude service from one of the barmen. So won’t be coming back (also quite expensive)
