About Cask Pub & Kitchen

Global selection of craft beers and ales on tap with kitchen serving gourmet burgers.

Formerly a Lillington Gardens estate pub Grade II listed, this corner house has been transformed by the current operators into a destination beer pub. Office workers, locals and tourists from nearby hotels enjoy guest ales on 10 handpumps. There are also about 20 keg beers, including unusual German, Belgian and American craft beers, and a claimed 300+ bottled beers from the UK and around the world. Note that although there are ten handpumps for cask ale, at quieter times not all may be in use.

Special events with visiting brewers are held here. The staff in this pub know their beers and will give you a good recommendation if you need it! Burgers feature on the weekday menu plus a range of bar snacks including pork pies and scotch eggs. Sunday roasts until late afternoon.

The pub celebrated its fifteenth birthday in mid-2024 and was branch Pub of the Year in 2019.

A fantastic selection of craft beers. Menu provides good pub food (pork pies, scotch eggs, burgers, fries, and slightly extra options). Very friendly and knowledgable staff and a great layout for eating. Is not set up as a pub but would be great for a large group. A great selection and an open environment. Not a local style of pub but you could very easily spend a long time talking to the staff and great for an event or larger groups.

Not the first visit to this most excellent pub.. very welcoming staff and knowledgeable as well, that is always very important to me. Phenomenal range of craft keg and cask beers. Plus, very recently added the vintage cellar with some eye watering prices to reflect stupid rare bottles.

🚇 Pimlico 🍺 £6.70 Yes IPA The Cask Pub & Kitchen is located in a residential area in Pimlico SW1. The nearest Tube is Pimlico, it’s a five minute walk to get here. This pub opened in 2009 as London's first craft beer focussed pub. This site used to be the home of The Pimlico Tram pub named after the Tram that used to travel between Pimlico and Brixton. This pub is part of the Grade II listed Lillington Gardens Estate which was built in the 1960’s. This is a bright and airy one bar pub that is surprisingly spacious inside. The servery is situated on the back wall and has a high gloss wood…

Cannot give more stars because 5/5 is the highest. The food is incredible! I had a mushroom and hallumi burger and every single ingredient was perfect! Also, the variety and quality of beers is great! Music, atmosphere, service… everything was awesome! Thank you! We’ll definitely come back as make it our local favourite go-to!

One of the best craft beer bars in Zone 1, with lots and lots of beers on tap. It was a hot day when I popped in, and I enjoyed a very cold Flensburger lager. Lovely atmosphere - full of drinkers with great taste!
