A spacious former Truman's pub which has latterly been opened up internally to form a single area with a modern central island bar. Seating is a mix of sofas, tables & chairs and bar stools. Has outdoor seating at the front and a paved garden area to the rear. Acquired by Young's as pub operator, from Redcomb Pubs in January 2019.

    Went to watch the football and it's a great pub with a nice garden. Friendly and attentive staff as well but disappointing that these buffalo chicken loaded fries were £15!

    Went in for the first time and was very impressed by the lovely warm atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and friendly but still professional and I enjoyed many a pint while chatting to the barman about music and my old career doing security for Donny Osmond. Lovely place that I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!!

    Got the fish and chips, bangers and mash, tagliatelle and bavette with chimichurri. Fish was cooked really well. Bavette was cooked well and chimichurri was a great addition Chips were ok.

    Popped in here for drinks to catch up with friends and had exceptional service from the lovely Bobby. Offered to carry our drinks out with us, even cleared up after our clumsy spillage - all with a smile! From one hospitality group of friends to another - we really appreciated being looked after by Bobby! Slay

    I come here often with my wife and also hold meetings here with my employees and we absolutely love this place. The manager and his staff are always super-accommodating and friendly. The food is great and portions offer good value for money. The decor is superb and the atmosphere is perfect. Highly recommended!
