Coopers Arms, Kilburn

About Coopers Arms

A very traditional pub reflecting the strong Irish community in Kilburn. Some nice old etched windows with Charrington insignia, hanging flower baskets and a horseshoe bar. Up to the pandemic it had offered one cask beer, then after a period without cask that one beer on tap has returned so there must now be the trade to sustain one pump. Still odd that their website shows an array of three handpumps and a picture of a pub in the About Us section which is NOT The Coopers.

The atmosphere was the best I’ve had in Kilburn. Manager is a diamond and the lady behind the bar was sooooooo pleasant. I will return.

I had a negative experience at the Coopers Arms Pub due to rude service from two female staff members, including an elderly woman and a blonde woman. The blonde staff member was particularly rude, rushing me out the door while I was trying to finish my drink at closing time. I was then banned without any valid reason. I would recommend avoiding this place due to the arrogant and ignorant attitude of the staff.

Lovely place. Nice and quiet during the afternoon but not dead by any stretch. Friendly staff and locals.
