🚇Limehouse 🍺 £4.30 Fosters cash only ❤️ A no frills salt of the earth locals boozer. . The Crown sits on bustling Commercial Road on the edge of Limehouse. The nearest Tube is Limehouse DLR which is just across the road. . The Crown was built in 1867, it occupies a corner plot on the end of a row of shops in this much developed area of East London. . The decor here is traditional and maintains an oldschool feel. This is a one bar pub which is dominated by the stunning servery which must date from the 1930’s. There are some simple but elegant touches that nod to this pub’s heyday, in one…

Small East End pub, nothing fancy but very clean drinks and the best pint of Guinness in Limehouse. Regulars are polite and great fun. So much so that we have made it our local. Decent prices too. Card or cash accepted. No food. Darts on a Wed. Great option for Troxy gigs. If you're looking for a chichi pub move along but if you're looking for an honest no frill decent pub, give it a chance.

A traditional East End boozer run by the gentleman Paul Singh for almost forty years. Supporting the dying tradition of playing "Fives" darts for both men's and women's teams every week. There are fewer and fewer of these down to earth, unpretentious pubs in London, so lucky to have this as my local. The regulars include some characters and the banter is in full flow. The Guinness, by my fussy Irish palate standards, is 10/10 and I believe the ale and lagers are also top notch. Card and cash accepted. Long live the Crown and all who sail in her!

You’d struggle to find pubs like this in London today. Decades ago they were all over but now a place like this is a destination pub. Cosy, carpet, friendly, affordable… I’d like to visit again.

When I think of a pub, I think of one like this. Cheap beer, locals, no music, footie on, old furniture, dartboard, bags of pork scratchings. I dunno how you could go to a pub that looks like this and then complain about the lack of atmosphere - it's like going to the Ritz and then being surprised that it's expensive... Only ever been in on my own, the people are friendly enough, no one bugs anyone, it's great. Cash only btw.
