About Dean Swift
Pub with large (and changing) selection of craft ales, lots of bottled beers and a British menu.
A popular and welcoming pub situated close to Tower Bridge but slightly off the beaten track. There is a single ground floor bar area and a separate restaurant upstairs offering a varied menu including seasonal dishes. The regularly changing selection of three real ales is largely London focused but also includes brews from further afield. In addition there are 15 taps serving a wide selection of craft keg beers. Occasional meet the brewer events are held.

I highly recommend this place and their Sunday Roast (recommend making a reservation for the roast)! The pub has a traditional British feel, both inside and out, with limited seating on both floors. We started with a couple of pints and the Ibérico Ham Croquettes, served with aioli (£8 | $10.50 USD). I can best described them as three ground ham and cheese tater tots. They were delicious and made for a great start. We both went with the Aged Striploin Beef Roast. I loved that you could choose how it’s cooked (medium-well for me & medium-rare for my partner). Each roast comes with roast…

Really nice pub near London Bridge. Beer selection 10/10 (the signature brew hazy maybe fav beer ever). Roast was pretty good. Liked the veg, roasties could’ve been a bit crispier (like in any pub), good size. Service mixed but overall a really nice pub! Not hectic either but book ahead

Delicious fish and chips. The charcuterie board was very well put together and tasty. The craft IPA excellent. Service was great.

Sunday roast was great overall. Better than average London pubs I've been to by quite a large margin, especially at £19.5 Beef was decent, both in terms of taste and portion size. However, I'd expect the thing to actually be pink after being asked TWICE if I want it medium rare (which I said yes). Didn't bother sending it back though because these were still on the edible end of the spectrum, and still had sort of pinkish hints here and there... Yorkshire is nice, so are the potatoes. Carrots are the highlight among them. Wise man once said there's no such thing as too much butter, and this…

Had fish and chips for lunch and it was amazing. Batter was light and crispy and the homemade tartare was really nice as well. Awesome selection of beers on tap. Will definitely come back again next time we are in London.
