About Duke On The Green
Smart pub with flowery design wallpaper, electric candle chandeliers and a seasonally changing menu.
The pub is to the south of Parson's Green, and across from the famous White Horse on the north side. Refurbished in 2015, it's a modernist open bar, hardwood floors, a mixture of comfortable 'fire-side' chairs (sadly just a 'coal-effect' gas fire), and large and small tables, high and lower. The usual Young's Ordinary and Special plus some local London craft beers and a good bottled range. There is some interesting tilework from the Fulham Pottery on the walls.
The food menu varies weekly and includes Sunday roasts.
There are reports that the "background music" here can be quite obtrusive.

Amazing atmosphere! And fabulous food. We visited Sunday and there were lots of people, but we didn't wait too long for our food. Presentation 5+. This is a dog friendly pub, I don't have a dog but it is so nice to see people's best friends around.

Had a really good roast here! It did take a while to get to order but the staff were all lovely and in fairness they were super busy. Good selection of drinks and great menu!

Food was fine, but they don't do any kind of take away so we couldn't get doggy bags for our food when we had to leave early. I found this shockingly wasteful. Also do not order the foccacia; £4 for four 1 in by 1.5 in pieces of bread.

Spent my birthday at The Duke on one of the warmest and sunniest Sundays I've ever seen in October! Staff were very friendly and hospitable throughout the stay. They were unsurprisingly busy - but (7 of us) never felt like had to wait long to order, for the food itself to arrive, a non-invasive status check to make sure everyone was happy... and for regular drinks top-ups. Atmosphere was lovely, lots of dogs there also and had all the feels of a chilled vibe that draws residents and visitors alike. Look forward to going back soon :)

One of the best pubs around Parsons Green. The food is amazing, I keep saying I will go to other places and always end up back here! Service is fast and always so helpful. Will definitely be back again!
