About Dukes Head

A large rambling pub, it is set back from the main road. Only one bar, but there are varied areas to sit in. The timber-framed building dates from the 17th and 18th centuries, but the frontage is 19th century and there were also 20th century alterations. In the early 20th century the town band used to play in front of the pub. It is decorated in a mixture of styles to suit the areas, including some original beams, and has a large conservatory. Sport shown on multiple screens. Function room upstairs. Now includes Indian Restaurant, for which we are awaiting more information.

The grilled chicken breast with veggies was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the veggies were crisp and bursting with freshness. It was a healthy and satisfying meal that left me feeling nourished and satisfied. Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a wholesome and tasty dish.

Conveniently located on Leatherhead High Street, my first visit here, popped in here for a quick lunchtime drink, found it a bit quiet for a lunchtime but that suited me, quick service and friendly staff. Nice, will be back.

First time trying the brand new Indian Restaurant side of this pub. They serve authentic Indian/Mumbai street food, and lots of interesting things on the menu - not just your average "British Indian" food. All very tasty and reasonably priced with friendly staff. A must go for dinner in Leatherhead.

Really enjoyed celebrating here at the Dukes Head, the food is lovely and expertly cooked. Paul was a great manager who did everything to make us feel welcome and the service was great. This is a quiet pub at the moment but will build up a good clientele again with the plans they have going forward. I would thoroughly recommend it for a nice gathering with friends or a social group get together or even for a nice quiet drink and some pub food if you fancied getting out! We need to do more of it to keep us all sane and have pubs like this to be there for when we do want to go out!
