About Edmund Tylney
Informal Weatherspoon pub with quaint wooden decor, serving British beers and unfussy meal deals.
Former Woolworth store, this typical Wetherspoon’s pub provided a good addition to Leatherhead’s drinking scene when it opened in the late 1990s. Edmund Tylney, a Leatherhead man, was Master of the Revels to Queen Elizabeth I. This post had the power to licence plays. Bar area has high tables and chairs, plus a raised area with more comfortable seating. The other half is raised and features a large wooden staircase to a balcony. Glass partitions help make the separate booths light but still private. The height of the interior gives it a spacious feel. Children are allowed in until 9pm if they are eating. Quiz Monday evening.

Been to this place on a friend's call to catch up for a drink. Lovely place, plenty of seating inside and outdoor. Nice decor to make you feel bit historical. Service was good which matter to me. Quiet atmosphere with lovely vibes. Even reading about Donald Campbell life history on the wall board. Btw we had good time on drinks and then move on. Glad I was here.

Cheap and cheerful. Everyone knows what to expect from a wetherspoons and this is no exception. The new Korean chicken is a great addition!

I regularly attend the pub to meet with friends and family. All staff are friendly and approachable, they are always willing to help even on busy evenings. I have never had a problem with food which always arrives quickly and promptly as well as being hot. The pub do a lot for a charity called young lives vs cancer. All staff seem to be passionate regarding this and raising money. Quiz nights happening once a month with proceeds going to the charity. The quiz nights are always enjoyable with a good atmosphere. They also hold charity fun days where they have different activities such as cake…

Always have a great night at our local Wetherspoons, The Edmund Tylney. I have really enjoyed the bingo and the monthly themed quiz nights, along with multiple events for the charity Young Lives Vs Cancer. The bake sales are out of this world. The manager, Kara is fantastic. Since she joined, she has made positive changes all around. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Its a great hub for all our friends to meet and have a brilliant night.

Spoons #156 on the high street, great to watch rugby in here! Awesome staff, so friendly Kara the manager was so busy all night never stopped serving and clearing tables, inspirational 😎 Very busy, nice staff, accessible toilets on ground floor Other toilets on 1st floor, no parking on site but a short walk to pay and display. Good food at great standards. Lots of screens for watching sport, nice friendly locals
