About Elderfield

Very nice backstreet local which has evolved along with its neighbourhood. It was previously the Priory Tavern and then the Eclipse. Built in the 1860s, it was redone in 1935 and is on Camra's Regional Inventory of Real Heritage Pubs because much of its interwar interior has survived, including a two-room layout, a circular ceiling feature with concealed lighting (which looks much more modern), wood panelling, bar-back and counter, fireplace. Plenty of weekly entertainments.

Sunday early evening Sep 24- light jazz was playing and the vibe was friendly and relaxed Wait staff are friendly and even came to table to help with drinks. Food ordered was only snacks - cheesy chips and halloumi fries - and it was hot and quick and tasty . Sticky tables and games you can play too! Relaxed vibe

Came here for a roast and was so impressed by the price, quality of food and service. We had a beef roast and a couple of lamb roasts and everyone was very happy with their roasts. The roast potatoes were a highlight. There was also live jazz which was a great surprise! We will definitely be back!

Lovely little local, the staff are really nice. The food was tasty and the plates are generous. Can't wait to come back and try the roasts, there is also jazz on Sunday.

A lovely place for a pint with friends & family with generous portions of tasty food. After a long day of walking around London, we made it to the Elderfield 20 minutes before the kitchen closed, hoping they could still make us a late dinner. The bar staff was super kind and friendly, and the fish & chips was perfectly made with generous portions. Overall a 5-star pub experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Cute atmosphere pints were £6 but they put a little shamrock on top of the Guinness which was a nice touch. Quick service but went on a Monday
