About Falcon

Large traditional pub with cast iron columns, wooden floors and falcon stained-glass window.

Extensively and sympathetically refurbished in spring 2014. Reopened on 14th May 2014 with 18 handpumps for cask ale in the main bar and a further 4 to the side. Since then, the real ale choice has diminished but up to six will usually be available

A busy M&B Nicholson's pub, now with a stronger emphasis on food but with many and diverse real ales available.

The Victorian splendours of this local, Grade II-listed landmark feature in CAMRA's National Inventory of pub interiors of outstanding historic interest.

The island bar counter is one of the longest in the country.

Had chicken, chorizo, and potato wedges with broccoli. It was very good but I'd have liked more broccoli. Was able to order and pay using the QR code, which meant I didn't need to leave my seat to order at the bar. Quite pricey, at £16, but I did enjoy my meal. Didn't realise their sandwich and drink for £8.50 deal included chips or salad as well. May try that next time. The menu looks pretty good, so I'll probably be back.

A whopping (not Wapping) 5 for this extraordinary place. The Falcon oozes character, enjoys cast iron pillars and wood and etched room dividers. The staff are wonderful and, service polite and rapid ( if I want to use an Oxford comma I shall!). A busy pub with a great happy atmosphere.

Quite a nice pub with a really good atmosphere. Has a very warm and homely feel to it. Would definitely recommend the burgers here. The prices are reasonable for Clapham and it's conviniently located close to the station.

Quite a big pub with plenty of seating indoors and some tables outside. Good selection of draft beer and spirits. The positives are the really cool indoor space that it’s kept in its original state with plenty of cool features. It feels like being in a different time. Negatives were the rude security guy at the door treating us as if we had been rude to him in any way. Some of the bar staff was quite dry and really didn’t make any efforts in being polite or acknowledge you. Exception made for a young blonde lady who instead was smiley and positive, shining among the rest of the team behind…

Went there for brunch last Saturday and it was delicious! The food was very tasty and generous quantity. Will definitely come back
