Traditional 1930s pub with an original U-shape central bar, masses of original features, fireplaces. Unusual array of army buttons and cap badges. Darts. Ex-Mann Crossman, Watney, Grand Met, Inntrepreneur, Unique, it's been owned by Enterprise Inns since 2004. Rear paved garden.

Great pub until a couple of weeks ago when the new manager arrived. This is the second Friday in a row now that he decides to open at a different time without informing his regulars. Certain customers like to get there early as it’s the only company they get but now it’s pot luck as to what time he decides to open. Not a good way to run a pub

Good atmosphere, very good service. Has a great dart board and pool table at the back. Always has the footy on!
